Is that public area still open to fish?  Used to fish Dean Mitchell many years ago this time of year.  Last time at the Port was a couple of years ago, late winter (February).  KK

It's still open to fish. I was there last week and it was iced over but I'm sure it's wide open now.

Thanks, might try for coho next week.  I think i drove past the guard shack a couple of years ago.  Might be different with each security person. Do you need to stop at the guard shack?  Thanks KK
