Looking into trailering the boat up to Ludington mid September. Never been up that way and wondering if anyone has any insight for places to stay. Cottage rental, hotel, house rental, Vrbo etc….I've looked at a few places in town and within a few blocks of launch but main concern is where to park the boat safely at rental.
Thanks in advance

Lots of small, old but clean motels and several larger chains there too. Almost of them have parking provisions for boats. I've stayed at the Viking, Vista Villa , Rodeway, and Holiday Inn in the past.

Regular Vista Villa user here. It is old style, old school, but always clean and comfy. Can park about 7 boats total, and has a stand up freezer to freeze your fish and a new ice maker for cooler ice. We stayed in May and July, and going back in couple weeks. The price at end of Aug is double what it was earlier, as salmon season is here and they know it! Good luck.
