TOPIC:

Launched out of MC Friday June 5th, ran to the NE. Ended up closer to new buffalo than MC . Set up in the "2nd" 60 and trolling with the waves.  Had fish biting before we got all the rods out and it was a steady pick from there on out. Best water was 68 to 72 fow. I kept the speed at the ball between 2.8 -3.0. Finished our 4 man limit at 7:30a.  1 steelhead  19 coho, dodger and flies were best but did take a few fish on spoons. Bites same between 20' to 40' down. We lost a few fish as well. 

Sunday June 7th set up in the same area but the fish were gone, we picked a few up but nothing like it was the trip before so I decided to troll back west picking a couple fish. We had a few hits that just didn't stick. Tried going out to 80 thinking maybe they pushed out some and no takers so decided to troll back in and as soon as we got close to the state line, close to out front of MC we started marking bait and fish started firing. In a short time we went from having 6 fish in the box to 17 boxed! Lost so many fish. Ended the day 18 for 30+
2 steelhead, 2 kings the rest coho. (threw back 1 jack king) dodger and flies were good as well with spoons! Baits down 20 to 35ft down took fish. Fished 55 to 80 fow 55 to 60fow being best!
