Made a run up north to get in on the king action. It did not disappoint! Went Sat night, Sunday, and stayed first half of Monday since the fishing and weather were so good. We went 21 for 25, with 3 throwbacks. Maybe 4 or 5 lakers, rest kings. We really got our act together this time. More than half were on 160 and 250 coppers. Riggers and a single dipsey did the rest, all spoon bite minus one laker on a Spin Doctor and spin n glo. Ran to Big Point Sable 3 times, and once straight west, for a total of 53mi, and our fuel pump fix was solid!

For sure. It's a commitment going up, but as slow as it is here, and the fact we are very mobile with our small ride, it's worth the time and effort traveling to water with better potential.
