TOPIC:

Hadn't been out for a while, I'd done some work on the boat (installed red deck lights, for one) so a friend and I decided to see if the kings were around. They might have been around, but none bit the lures I chose to run. Fished 5AM to 10AM, one release - wasn't looking at the rod so couldn't see if it was a bite or just a build-up of waterfleas.  (I'm suspecting the fleas.)  

Remember though, at this time of year, every day is different. I've had the best day of the fall run and the worst (or vice versa) one day and the next. 

Water temp wasn't horrible - 73 degrees. I've caught many fall kings 80 degree water. 

No gaspergoos.   

I was wondering how you guys did, I pulled into the ditch right behind you with the same number of fish in the box. Hopefully soon.
