The bite picked up for awhile this weekend. My brother in law went out Friday went 3 for 6. I went out Sat morn went 2 for 5. One 4 lbs coho full of eggs and 10lbs 6oz steelie. Sardine bags were the ticket this weekend. Couldn't get a hit on crawlers, or shrimp.
With that said, looks like these bluebird skies shut the bite off as soon as it got started. Friends went out this morning and notta. Brother in law back out this afternoon/tonight, missed 1 bite and that was it, same reports from others at the ramp. Beware! If you're fishing at night and putting in at Monkey Island (Petro Golf Course), someone is slashing truck and trailer tires... met some guys that happened to this weekend, as they were coming back in. Not Cute!! :
