I took out my buddy for his first time on the big lake. Got out and setup right at sun rise going nw. Turn east at 100 and hit a double at 97 right after we turned.

Rigger down 70 with a green jplug took a 20lb ish Laker (biggest one for me in a long time)

Im fighting that fish and the wire diver with mag dipsey out 150 is screaming with a nice king. Buddy is fighting that one and it spits the hook.

Landed laker re set lines and looked up to a sky full of darkness and some building waves. Picked up and ran in with the whole fleet doing the same. Docked the boat put the lines on as soon as it started to pour. Seen some smaller boats catching some pretty good air time off those waves haha.

Shortest trip of the year only last 1hr -1.5 hrs.

Nice catch Tim. I had fun that day of the tourney, would have been better without that soaking rain. Would like to try the perch out by you sometime.
