Gotta' love a 90% catch rate especially when you are talking 10 hits! North/Northeast of wreck?

Sweet report! Debated going out there this morning but figured someone had to take one for the team and see what was happening in close. Now, here's the real part. I had only my wife this am and she didn't want to go out there.....

It was fun to get into some decent fish, and a really nice night on like with or without the fish. We wrere out at the end of the week last week and only managed a couple sheepies but it was still fun. We started out S/E of the wreck and wandered our way N/E from there. It took some luck to get the hook/land ratio where it was, first king my dad's buddy stabbed at and got the hooks in the net without the fish, which rarely works out. On one of the wire divers the wire bund up on the spool and stopped a big fish after about a 200ft run. I was able to baby that fish in, but it wasn't easy. I've found that on my wire rods, it can be really important to run out the line after a big fish because if you have a guy pumping and reeling on a fish the line goes on tight and lose as they reel down. Aftr we landed that fish, I unclipped the leader and ran the diver out to 500ft and wound it back on smooth.

We were out Thurs. morning from 6:00 until about 1:00. ended with 4 for 8, 1 steelhead, 1 coho, and the other 2 were green. heard as we were about to pull lines that the fish were further north agound the 55's north of the wreck. we were in the 48 -50 North and 21-23 W. Fish seemed to be high in the water column 30 ft and above.
