Thanks you guys just bought a boat my shelf going out next week for the first time for kings in my boat. Have two dipsy rods flashed fly and some spoons . No downs diggers yet. So can I run some other rods with keel weights and spoons or body baits to help me get lures down a little further?

On Erie I run tadpoles to get spinner harnesses down. You can use them on spoons. You can also run jet 40's too. But to get baits down quickly it looks like dipseys are the way to go. Guys also run leadcore line or copper to get baits down. Myself, being a begginer , will be sticking to dipseys to get baits down. Good luck
