Sorry about the late post. We got a late start Friday and showed up to Pastricks only to find out we could not get in after 4 due to fireworks. We ended up at Hammond and after waiting for fuel headed out around 2 p.m. This was my first trip to the big pond since my Grandpa pulled his boat from Benton Harbor years ago. Wow, the lake has changed! I would like to give a big thank you to Capt. Ralf for putting us on the fish!! We made the 12 mile run and set lines in 70 fow. Running riggers 30 and 40 down with 40 back spoons on one and dodger/flies on another.Small Dipsy out each side 200 back with spoons and boards out with weighted dodger/flies up top. Fish came on the lines down 30 to 40 fow at 2.8 mph. Went 4 for 4 with one being a 17 lb Laker and the other 3 nice coho :woohoo: . Anything with green or orange worked best.
