TOPIC:

Ran out to 95-100 fow in between Portage and MC. Did fairly well. 4 Coho and 5 lakers. we had more success on the Western troll. Just a friend and myself with 6 rods running. 2 riggers with sliders. 38 and 45 fow. NBK, Green/blue dolphin, Pro-chip white dodger/fly, with white and blue uv stinger slide. 2 Dipsys. One meat with spin doctor frog and silver back. One green dodger fly combo. On the boards we ran 100 and 200 foot of copper. 200 had a big black raspberry spoon and 100 had an old green and yellow with battered tape and silver back. (Our #1 rod of the day). Great water for fishing. Ran 2.5-2.7 mph. The coho came early with one around 6 pounds. Stomach was full of lady bugs. We lost 2 fish going 9 for 11. Our hot hours were from 8 to 10:30 A.M. The flies did get to be a little much in the late morning.
