Thursday im going to do a perch fishing trip.Since there havnt been really any reports on any of the normal areas any thoughtss as were to begin my adventuer .Any where from cal park to New buffalo

I’ve gotten fish between Portage and MC this week. Scattered pods of really active fish when you find them. 25-45ft, probably can get them deeper or shallower just keep looking. Kastmasters have gotten a lot of good fish for me.

Tried out of Michigan city on 6-25. Tried trolling up a steelhead around the harbor mouth for a bit with no luck. Marked some fish on the bottom while trolling and switched up presentation to try and jig up some perch. Turns out they were schools of alewives, as we pulled a few of those up. Was a nice day to be out tho!

Well made it out thursday to portage.Didnt mark anything.Ended up with 1 perch in 39 ft of water.Talked to a couple of other guys and they dint catch zipp..Will try again soon but will fish MC...
