My crew of Iowegians hit town today so naturally, it was a crappy weather day. The lake wasn't crowded, for sure. Only boat out and we had the fish along the inland wall all to ourselves. Steady action on all rods. They even grabbed a spare rod, put a gold Wally Diver on in and ran it as a flatline straight out the back. It caught two and took another couple of drive-by hits. All the usual cranks off the boards and a mix of J-9s and D/F on divers and riggers. Firetiger J-9 outdid the orange/gold. Could almost fish to the second light most of the day. Day one done, two to go.
