I got out at 330 today. We caught 4 (one throw back). Lost two nice ones, one was a big brown. Blue thin fins was hitting for me. Marked a lot of fish at the mouth of the ditch. The lake was rollin' but the boat did pretty well.

Was it the shallow short or the shallow long version? I recently ordered a shallow short one in the coho crusher. Hope to get it soon as I am planning a one day trip next Saturday if the conditions are okay. I can't stand it any longer. All these reports plus what is not reported, I just hope there is one or two left for me.


It was a short deep he had. We were flat lining it so not sure how deep it was running on its own.

My shallow short one came in today along with 2 gold/red j-9 rapalas. I have a bunch of lures now. My other half says I have an addiction. She may be on to something.

I call it silver poisoning - it is a sickness that is for sure lol.
