Took my son out on an afternoon trip for kings. Since he's still a little guy i ran 3 rods but only needed one. Pushed east of the Pavillion to 60fow and trolled west fishing through the 50s. 1 rigger with a spoon and slider, dispsy with a meat rig and a 150cu w/spoon. Set the rigger right away 30 back/30 down, slider, grabbed the dispy rod to set it and bam! Fish on!  Spunky fish but gave my 5 year old a crack at it, he did really well! When the fish got close to the boat  I had to take over for fear of losing the rod to exhaustion.  2 more drive bys on the rigger and our troll ended near the doughnut just before sundown.
