Fished this morning out of Portage. Started setting rods right outside the port. Fish started hitting immediately  with three in the box before all rods were set. Finished the morning with our 20 and only lost five or six. All nice coho. Most were taken on doger/fly. It didn’t really matter what color. A couple on flat lines 65 feet out but most on Dipsy‘s at 25. Never got past 40 ft of water. Not too many bait balls as they were more like bait mountsins! Our only problem was that the day ended after only an hour and 45 minutes. It was great getting if the lake early. All our wives were happy that we were home very early! Thanks Chris , George and Dan for a great, fast morning!
