TOPIC:

Headed north out of Pastrick's  had a decent spread out thin fins, dodger/flies, spoons on dipsys and dream weaver/spin n glos on riggers down low for lakers. 
Set about mid wall-  trolled just north of the gong then headed east then southwest going back towards the marina.  Apparently i didn't go as far north as I needed to for laker action or any action for that matter, dragged one small shaker coho on a dodger fly.
After reading Tmiks' post, I'm kicking myself for not going farther north as i don't mind catching lakers
  Oh well still nice to be out with my sons but really wish i was more successful but that's why they call it fishing........
I was stopped at the ramp upon my return by lake county . Everything was in order so even though they were thorough they were quick and pleasant. 
Oh yeah and my Lowrance Carbon 16 took a dump on me so now I have to see how good the warranty dept works......seeing as they don't make them anymore I'm sure I'm not going to be happy after that phone call.....

Interesting to hear that you were stopped as well yesterday. Hopefully you can get that lowrance up and running quickly, i lost my humminbird at the end of last season and it made those last couple trips really interesting flying blind. Thanks for the report.

Funny thing is I think inadvertently offended the officers at first by handing them my fishing license along with my boat registration- I assumed they were DNR at first. 
They quickly noted they didn't care about my license and pointed to their respective Lake County patches..... then it dawned on me that they were not the DNR, lol
