Headed east from portage @5am. Fishing solo I setup one rigger, one dipsy, one planer board. On the first turn at the port the planer board just disappeared into the depths. Ended up landing the first king of the year on a hot’n’tot. I only fished until 8am and ended up with the king and 2 coho.  Both coho came on the riggers sider spoon.  The lake was steadily getting more rough as the west winds increased. Today was the first time this year that I marked a decent amount of bait. The king had several large bait fish in its stomach, the coho were empty.  By 7am most marks on the graph had moved to different waters. Beautiful morning out on the lake!
