It was not a slam yesterday, the wind was not really the issue but the gusts. Wow was it a chore to keep speed and course, at least in my boat I saw a Hewes out that looked like it wasn't having an issue. Anyway made a limit with the one steel I brought home and immediately put on the grill.
Here are the stats:
As usual, I got a late start and finally got lines is at 9 or 10 and finished at 2 or 3. I had to work for them and there was no rhyme or reason for where they were. I hit 2 in front of the mouth, caught and missed one East of the mouth in 19 fow, and hit in 16 fow. All in 44-50 degree water and all in or really close to the plume. I tried to keep the speed around 2.3 but went anywhere from 1.9 to 3.1
