TOPIC:

Fished the torunament and got a 3 man limit throwing back non-weighers nearly all on thin fins.  Wish the size was there but can’t complain about the action.  Gary light was the hot spot for coho but couldn’t find any big lakers by the port later on.  They are hungry- proof with pics.  Would love to hear if anyone has seen anything like this:

Lol, never in a coho. I’ve seen them in the shallows in the winter and saw a guy catch one on a minnow once while perching. Might have to start experimenting with the baits on the deep riggers this year.

I’ve seen small Bluegill in their stomachs but not a salamander.  Cool

My research says it’s most likely a mud puppy- unless I’m misidentifying it.
