Left east chicago about 230p heading out to 75ft illinois water. Started looking at 65-70ft found bait and lots of fish on the humminbird. At 6pm kept seeing alot of fish down low we were in 90ft dropped riggers to 70ft got two kings 8lb and 10lb both came on a small spoon mich stinger uv jagerbomb. Never got another bite lots of fish scattered 30-70ft

we went out two days before same water but michigan side out of mich city started seeing bait in 60ft went out to 100ft only got two coho and 1 laker. Been real slow lately. Thanks for posting reports

Way to go,  i was fishing about the same waters but i headed in about 4 ish.  I got skunked but i seen the bait and some fish too on the graph, i was hoping for something but zeroed out.  Glad you were able to pull a few in.

Did you fish till dark or close to dark?
Back I. The early 90s we would leave New Buffalo Michigan at about 4:30 pm eastern time and drop lines in 90 to 100 fow and troll out to about 140 then turn and head toward the Harbor. The last 1.5 to 2 hrs of daylight we could watch the fish come off the bottom and we normally caught 15 fish by the time we got to 70 to 80 ft. We'd pull lines and run in. I haven't done it since 1993 when my dad died but I'll bet they still do it!
