Will be out of Portage this PM headed to the state line.  “Onesy Twosy” on channel 68 if anyone would like to coordinate.  Report coming tonight.

Depending on when I can get out of work, we may head down and try out luck tonight, stay overnight on the boat and hit it again tomorrow. If we can't get down tonight I look forward to the report for those of us heading out in the AM.

Fished 2pm-8pm.  Straight north heading out of Portage headed to the state line but stopped short a couple miles due to marking a lot of bait and fish.  Decided to troll north to deeper water.  Talk about a slow start.  Didn’t see a bite for the first two hours but they showed up scattered once we got to 75-90 fow.  Not sure if this was a timing thing or a location thing.  Bait was everywhere and plenty of fish marks in 65 to 90.  As far as speed and direction 2.4 gps and east/west trolls worked best.  Hooked 3 doubles and a few slider spoon hits that never stayed pinned.  Ended 7/12ish with 2 released lakers, 5 lb king, 9 lb steelie, and 2 coho with one being 7 lb.  Lost another nice steelie on the 2 color with mag goldilocks spoon.  6 color with stinger kervorkian (reddish purple) worked the best catching steelie/king/laker along with dodger flies in the 20-40 column.  Pretty much all alone out there but the weather cooperated well for a beautiful night out.  Good luck tomorrow.
