GAS PRICES!!! Its unbelievable! This morning gas in Elkhart Indiana is $4.89 a gallon for regular and $5.19 or higher for premium and $5.29 for deisel.

I know fuel prices at the marina in Michigan City is over $6 dollars a gallon.

Fishing just got a bit more expensive!

My wife text me last night its $5.39 in LaPorte.

I work 2nd shift in SB and it was $4.89 when I left.

Between gas and inflation on everything else, I think our boat is gonna see very limited use this season. Lots of shore/pier fishing and going out with a friend or two and share gas money.

5.58 in the west burbs here. Marina shores is 5.49...its cheaper per gallon to fill the boat at the fuel dock than my car haha!

Don't forget thr additional $.10 off per gallon if you are a Boat US member. I was joking with them two weeks ago asking if they thought a hose would reach my car, apparently I wasn't the first to ask that. 

It's gonna be more money for sure, but if you only think of it in terms of the increase from last year, it's not as painful to stomach. At least that's what I tell myself.

Never gave that a thought but I can sure see the thought process and it makes sense.
