TOPIC:

Not a fan of 15-25MPH wind in any direction and it was all that and more on some gusts but it was sunny and warm so gave it a whirl for a few hours in the AM. Nothing magical to report, worked off the wall to get a little a shelter from the wind and out to 65' before all you could really work was a northwest heading.  5-6, 4 Coho and 1 Steelhead all of average size for this time of year.  Action was with trolling with the wind only and all came on riggers 40 up to 32 and dipsey back 75' and mostly spoon bite.  One of the better coho hit the King rig which was a Green Jeans dodger and Mercy UV fly (Salmon Candy brand).  NBK on the dipsey and Pickleseed were the other takers.

Seemed like one of those days we could have been done by 10:00 if the wind was 10-15 or less given the water temps and bait but the blow just seemed to scatter them pretty bad.  Always next time....
