Hoping to get out tomorrow and see how it goes, assuming the lake settles down as forecasted later. With the forecasted South Easterly winds, probably will either go out of Hammond to Indiana Harbor or out of Portage and fish between there and Gary Light. With the winds lately feels like it’s been forever since I’ve been out. Hoping this April will provide better conditions and some great catches for us all.

I'm assuming the shallows are beat to s*** and muddy from the waves all weekend and today. 

I am wondering how long it will take that east wind tomorrow to clean up the east side of the lake.

Not sure how bad it will be tomorrow.   King Seeker posted today he had to cut a charter off early due to seas so I assume its pretty bad out there today.   Good luck if you get out and let us know how you do.

Going to sit out due to the possibility of higher waves still. Going to chase some pond fish instead! Hopefully be back out soon.
