Fishing with two boats, looking for Coho. We found more fish in less than 20 FOW than in deeper.  Water temp was in the low 40's, but increased in the dark water coming out of the river, but the fish did not seem to care.  Bait was scattered, with no bait balls, but where there was bait, there was a bite.  The fish seemed to be scattered, and the only consistent bite came on Brad's thinfins, and #7 jointed flicker minnows.  Oddly the colors of the baits were completely different . The thinfins were red with stripes, and the flicker shad was chrome blue with white belly. We did pick up on fish on a 2 color core with a gold and orange spoon long off the back with a stern plainer.  All the rest of the fish came on boards 50-100 foot back.  We ended with 15 fish from the two boats, with at least that many misses.  Because  of the long leads, we missed a lot of fish, and lost one fish because the mono got hung up in the ring holding on the board, and we could not get it loose. Water color was blue, but not crystal clear, more Aqua then Cobalt blue. Fish were between 12 and 20 inches long, most being about 18 inch long. It should do nothing but get better from here on out. We did take one boat to the Cook Plant after the first boat had to leave, and found about the same success down there.  Fish were scattered and we tried many different baits, settling on the two that kept action coming.

Hopefully it gets better but the east wind is gonna push the warm water out today, hopefully not too far.
