Started out solo at 6:30 am 3-16-22 and started my voyage down the ditch to realize my motor wouldn’t trim up. So I reached the mouth and there was a wagon trail doing laps. The plan was to go to Gary but since I couldn’t trim up I joined in the craziness. I started with jointed metallic perch colored flicker Shad’s with in the first 5 minutes 1 in the box got 2 more most on the same flicker shad. Bite died and picked up my last 2 by 10:30. Now how do I get my motor up when I get to the dock? Luckily the construction guys were there to help save my ass. Got my trim fixed and went back on 3-17-22 at 6:30 am this time I had a passenger did same setup and got 10 in boat and off water by 11am. Maybe going back Monday or Tuesday evening to try my luck. Good luck all.
