Went to Gary and the fishing was decidedly slow. Caught one between light and discharge in an hour or more. Friend called said he was getting bites North of lighthouse (weird, because of water temp) but hey... Moved out there and caught a few, but nothing real fast, so I headed back to the west and set up outside of Ship Canal. Better water temperatures and we caught a nice mixed batch of browns and cohos in the canal.  Nothing like basking in the scenic beauty of NW Indiana while catching fish!  Red RTs were top lures, but J-9, and a ShadRap also saw some action.

Yes on the browns, though I was running divers set on 3 with 15 feet of line which did get some bites, but those are only a couple feet under the surface.
