Left portage 8 am, ran to the Gary light. Zero bites….trilled 2 hours and went back to the portage mouth. I felt like Forrest Gump out there not really sure I was doing it right. I caught 2! 15 to 20 feet of water, trolling steady at 2 mph. Caught one on a rapala and one on a flicker shad. More importantly, the boat and gear ran flawlessly. Had a great time. Thanks again to all that helped. Won’t be my last trip!

Good to hear. Good trolling speed. Sometimes you gotta run around to find them.
