We fished from about 8.30 am to 12.30 no takers.  Started outside of the lighthouse and worked the beach back, no go. Sounded slow for most out.. nice to get out again. A few boats by the lighthouse decided to go against the grain, it blows my mind 10 boats going counter clockwise and 1 or 2 coming right towards you clockwise SMH.. anyhow hope this helps anyone thinking they might have missed out today..

Thanks for the report, still bet it was great to be out, I feel better was having fishing withdrawals today.LoL.  , I thought Gary light was doing good , changed that fast, storm coming in ?

Yes it was good to be out for sure! Not sure if it was the wind that had the water chalky by the lighthouse?  I preface all of this by saying I'm not a great fisherman lol. A friend of mine that is a very good Fishman also got skunked, so hopefully only up from here...hope this helps! Have a good weekend! 

Thanks again for the report, we all get skunked sometimes, all great to be on the water. I've fished one area go back the next day and catch nothing, the day before caught limit. We will all be catching fish soon.

We were also out on Saturday. Prefer to catch the spring Coho casting at Gary light. Wind up boating three keepers that way. Lots of boats trying but very few catching. Clearly the fish were not quite there. Caught one more trolling outside the ditch on the way in and that was the day. Made for an outstanding supper and another supper in the freezer. Next time out there ought to be more fish!

That's great you got some and had some good grub! Hopefully up from here! 

what were you seeing for water temps?

32.8 got upto 34 by the beach but I think the south wind had started rolling that warm water out by then..
