5/6 today, 2.6-3.2 mph. Went to EC this morning to fish, found some in front of the wall over three quarters of the way from the ship canal to the hole in the wall, but before you make the turn to follow the Inland wall to get to the hole in the wall if that makes sense. Out front, not in the EC bay area  might be an easier description haha. Ran two planers with Brad’s Thin Fish and one regular flatline with a Brad’s Wiggler as well as a red 00 dodger with a green peanut fly weighted with a 1/2 oz keel sinker in front of the dodger as another flatline. One fish came on the fly. Two or three on the Wiggler, which dives a little deeper than the Thin Fish, probably closer to 8-10 ft rather than 4-8 ft. It was the one with purple chrome with black stripes and the Thin Fish was the red with black squiggles, plus lost one on the yellow with watermelon dots color, which so far has been one of our best colors this year. One undersized, the rest from 15-22/23 inches. Overall a great day on the water. Hope the bite improves again. Added a (very slightly) bloody cooler shot of my two and my partner took the other two.
