Fished with Tin Star last night from 3:30-7:20 and boy was it a wonderful evening to be out on the water. Quite a few boats were coming in when we were going out and a couple looked to have caught some fish. Headed to Gary light and setup along the steel wall with 2 flat lines, 2 dipseys, and 2 DR with spoons and flashers. One shaker hit within 5 minutes of setting up and then not even a bump for the next 2 hours. We were making laps all around that area in 20-44’ of water. Good clarity and surface temp was 46. Picked up had headed to the port to run the same game plan. We went 1/3 all on flatlines with red squiggle thin fish. Only the one stayed hooked up. All the others drug the board back and then just let go. Slow day but it was nice out and my first time not wearing my ice armor fishing!
