TOPIC:

First time out this year in boat. Boat ran great. Fished from 9 to 1:30, trolled from mouth of ditch to marker number four to Port to donut. Surface water temp was 40 to 43 degrees, the wind could have gone away. Fished in water 22 to 55 feet dept. Had a lot of short hits (11) fish on for only 20 to 30 seconds, rod bounce three to five times then fish would release. Did boat two coho of average spring size. Both were on natural color shinner looking lures.. Tried to vary trolling speed from 2.2 to 2.8 mph, just couldn't get a pattern going today. It was nice to be on lake again . Not sure about the short hits I experienced today, maybe one or two on a trip but a lot today. Any input or explanation on the short hits would be appreciated.  Still caught two and nice to be on lake.

Could have been some of these??  Caught several of these juveniles a few days ago.
