TOPIC:

I launched first light today at Michigan City. I hit a real nice stealhead in front of the beach in 35fow about 8am and lost it. Never got another hit until 11am it was a 18inch coho and lost it too. Never seen anyone in a boat or on the pier hookup all day. I talked to 3 boats 2 were skunked and one had one coho. Marked a lot of fish but the water was still a bit cloudy. Both fish hit on red and black thin fin, nothing on J13 or maglip. It was a bummer that I lost both fish but it felt good just to be out on the lake. Heard some boats were doing much better west of MC.

Based on all of the reports I have heard, the fish were just real scattered today.  Some guys did ok and some really struggled.  I have yet to hear of a great day.  Thanks for the report.
