We cast for about 30 min at the warm water discharge with no takers, started trolling around 3-3.30 picked away at them ended up with 7 out of 8. Good to be back on the water! It seemed trolling closer to 3 mph had more takers..

Good job!  Thanks for the info. Do you think morning or afternoon outings produce better?  I typically do just mornings because it works for my schedule. But I've wondered how guys do in the afternoon.
Fish on!

Thanks man, honestly I almost never start fishing first light typically our outings are whenever we have time, but we do fish alot in the mid morning  or  late afternoon. I don't feel afternoon is as good especially later in the season but if it's nice day a we can fish for a couple hours after the kids are done at school we will be out trying..

Nice catch! Usually early spring you don't need to be out at sunrise to catch coho. Lots of fish become more active as the sun heats the water up throughout the morning. Ive had some of my best coho days in the spring late morning early afternoon.

Gotcha.  I try and miss all the congestion out on the water but for the kids mid morning or afternoon would be more ideal.
Fish on!
