3 of us Fished the harbor mouth in Michigan City yesterday in a 14 ft. boat. Water in Trail Creek dirty and didn't see any fish caught until we reached the cleaner water just inside the lighthouse along the pier. Fishing on the pier slow but did see fish taken by the lighthouse. Ended up with 5 brown trout and 8 coho flatlining crankbaits and J-9 jointed orange rapalas., Weather wasn't the best but good to get on the water again. I'll post a picture of the crankbaits.

Sounds like a fairly productive day. That cold mist really sucked out there.

No doubt.  Hard to find a dry place to wipe your glasses.   I really enjoyed having the rod in my hand when the fish hit for a change.  DNR was on the pier checking everyone for licenses and fish size and waved us in.  We only had to measure one fish while fishing and it was legal.
