Went out with the family for the first time this year. Took the advice on previous posts and went out Of Portage on a heading of 330 to 90’ of water. Went 6 for eight 2 cohos, 1 steelhead and 3 lakers. Did not want to fish for lakers but my 9 year old son wanted to. Most fish came on dipsies set out 75-85 on a #1 setting. Only two fish came on a downrigger, 35 ft down. All except on came on dodger fly combos, orange dodger with green/gold fly did most of the work. A hog laker hit a dipsy with a black and purple magnum size spoon, the little guy was mad we let it go, too big as it dwarfed the Steelhead which was 27”. Interesting that the water was 68 degrees in 90 ft at the surface on our way in it was 62 in 50 fow infront of the ditch.
