Started fishing around 10.30 am picked up a coho setting lines one a 7 color just outside of the 4 marker. Trolled along the wal to the #2 no bait not hits. Headed north to 50' / 55' trolled west picked up a biger laker and sent him back. Came on a meat rig 35' down almost immediately getting the laker in the boat Flat line thin fin went off screaming.12lb king. Coho came on a mix of flat line , meat rig ,1 color and rigger. We sent 3 fish back ended up with 6 in the box.. fished until 3.30 pm. The little guy reeled the king in almost all by him self and his older brother has now taken the back seat to biggest fish lol

That had to be scary fighting a king on a thinfin. Not the strongest of hooks or split rings. I have had steelhead pull both both hooks and split rings off the lure leaving me with a broken heart and only a lure body to show for it.

Steelie Don it was very terrifying! Especially netting I could see it wasnt a deep hook and everytime he got close he would take off again and then there is an 8 year old on the other end lol
