I like portage ramp. It’s just easier on the boat to launch even if I have to head to MC by water to find fish. MC boat ramps are all concrete with no bumpers so can beat up the boat plus more traffic. Just my opinion.

Just wondering same thing, MC or portage? I’m a walleye guy just getting into these kings. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!


It really depends on the weather. Sometimes west is better, sometimes east is better. I will agree though with the previous comment, MC Ramp sucks compared to portage.
