Set lines at about 5 tonight before the storms rolled in. Ran a full king spread hoping to get into a few quick ones. We were rewarded with a bunch of grease( 3 for 6) At least they are good for netting practice lol. Mud line was out past a mile out of portage. Marked a bunch of bait in the mud and hauled in about a 6” ale on a rigger rod it was dragging behind after a hit and miss on that rod. Didn’t know we were running two meat rigs for how ever long tonight lol. Been fishing the evenings pretty hard for the last week and it sure isn’t as good as what the morning/ afternoon bite has been.

Good try will at least you got out and gave it a try.

Thanks for the report. We passed you when you were leaving the marina we were just coming in, blk/silver Crestliner fish hawk. My buddy and I both said those boys are die-hard going out before the storms. Slow day for us out there.

We try to hit it hard this time of year when the kings are stacked up down here on the Southend of the lake . Tends to make you push the limits a little more. Lol I might be a little biased but that’s a nice rig you got there. Team crestliner!

I was thinking the same thing on rigs! Sorry, I almost cut you off didn't think anyone would be coming out of the marina. I hear on the kings got my first one yesterday and it was such an awesome experience! Good luck!

Congrats on your first king and welcome to the addiction! Lol We haven’t set a rod targeting coho all season unless you count the free sliders.
