Set lines around 4 30 east of portage in front of the pavilion. Ended up 2 for 4 both kings. Bigger fish was 16 on the scale. First fish came on the set on a rigger down 30 ft magnum orange hulk. Second fish was about an hour later on the opposite rigger set at 40 ft on the counter with a glow berry magnum. 4 dipsey rods were all silent tonight one being our meat rig. One of the rips we missed was on a 150 copper with a mag spoon the other hit and miss was the shallow rigger. Water temp top to bottom was 43. Kept our speed from 2.4 to 2.8 at the ball all night. Took hits on west and East troll. Looks like we will be blow off the lake the next few days. I’ll be working on my honey do list to keep the grief I catch for the next trip out to a minimum. Lol Happy hunting and tight lines!!

I may have seen you guys out there. We were in a Blue Lund. There was only one other boat in the area so I assume it was you guys.

That was us. Tried calling ya on the radio. Looked like you guys were fighting a fish a little after 6? Did ya boat any Kings?

Yeah we went 10 for 10 with 3 kings and 7 trout. When you saw us we had a King on and it got into our 8 color on the opposite side of the boat. Then the 8 color ended up in our diver. We got the fish but because of the mess I used the gaff rather than the net. Sucks to put a hole in a 20 lb king but it made it to the boat.

I should note we started at 2 setting lines at the pink house. We came out of MC. I was on channel 5 on the radio. I suppose fishing that way I should get on 68.
