HOLY COW was there a ton of bait under the boat yesterday at EC! Solid along Inland wall and spotty pods out on the shoals. Bazillions!

Holding to my theory about the young coho "learning" to switch from bugs to "meat," most of the little fellows we caught were still slurping bugs. Caught several 20+ inchers however which had been dining on alewife. A few of the little guys had an alewife in their belly and those will be big guys real soon!

Good day on the lake. Red/Black squiggle Thinfins were top dogs - diver with orange dodger/purple-black fly got some work, as well.

Not nearly the bait around the last few days as was there over the weekend. Still, some bait is there. Most of the ales I've seen in bellies were super mags so if you are putting stuff out to tempt a king, I'd suggest mag spoons, big flies. #4 Js or J-13s wouldn't be too big!
