Dropped in about noon after the weathermen proved to be wrong about the rain in the forecast and spoke to a few guys coming in saying it was getting nasty out there wave wise. Got to the mouth and it was a little narly. Figured the trip wouldn’t last long we still headed out but to be safe we set up west of mouth in 50FOW to have waves at our backs and see if it would lie down a bit. Wound up being good and trolled down toward MC. Caught phish the whole way down in 50-60 FOW nothing hot but consistent and kept us busy while losing a few. Best area being from the donut to the pavilion. Finished 9 for 15 losing a nice king at side of boat due to bad net job, all rest were coho. Hot color was candy apple red glow mag spoon on rigger down 45 back 34 with slider in same color SS. Great day to be out
