We set up north out of the ditch in 48 foot of water. Started a West troll, before the second downrigger was set the first one took off grab the net and the second one took off. Got both fish in in less than five minutes of starting to set up. It never slow down much from that. Worked mostly 45 to 50 FOW. Finally able to put out all six rods. Used a mixture of magnum spoons and medium size spoons & J13’s and Brad‘s Thinn Finns, also put out one 6 inch dodger and fly. Everything caught fish but the majority came on medium size spoons in orange and green. Downrigger’s or set at 30 feet majority of the fish came on free sliders. We ended up going 10 for 21. Started fishing at 6:45 AM and was done in 2 1/2 hours.

uhmmmm hot isn't the word ....its burning to the ground....Ive been fishing Lake Michigan for 40 years and it was as good a day Ive seen ...crazy !!!

steve q and i had kayaks out deep and also had great luck on cohos....just fishing flatlines....steve got his 5 very quick...i got three and daughter wanted to kayak to west beach so i called it a day for the fishing and just spent the rest with my daughter and her new kayak...too much fun

See I didnt know Steve had com padre out there. I thought he was manning up and going it alone..............haha
