Got out at 0900 on Monday. We launched at Hammond and started fishing just outside the Cal Harbor break wall.
Our spread consisted of 00 dodgers, red thinfins and j-11 Rapalas on weighted lines 30-40 behind the boards. We also ran a couple of spoons on dipsey's.
The wind shifted 180 from the north and the temp dropped about 15 degrees so we decided to fish inside the wall.
We immediately started catching coho. We ended up going 11 for 15, and we lost a king in the high teens off a Blue Dolphin spoon on a dipsey 36 down.
It's great catching fish so close to shore in May!

Great job, Monday was a great day!! I found a lot of bait about 200 feet of the wall and had my 1 man limit in 45 min.

Agreed, was great being out on the lake, EC for me,same type of results. Wish everyday could be like that.
