Saturday 5/6:
Left the dock @ 5:00 AM
Dropped lines @ 5;45.
Fished from Miller Beach to Gary Light (West troll)
Hit a 3 man limit, 14 coho and 1 nice steelhead (27")
High Diver (2): #3 setting, 35- 40' back, Clown Dodger/green black peanut fly
Low Diver (2 wire): 1 1/'2 setting, 25 - 30' back, spin doctor aqua fly, orange dodger/aqua peanut fly
DR(2)- Variety size and colors of spoons, never got a bump on any.
ILB- (4) Two -5 color LC with silver J-plug and Two - 1 1/2 oz. keel weight with fire tiger J-9, back 50 - 60'.
The steelhead came on a LC J-9 Rapala.
Sunday we ran the same game plan with similar results- 2 man limit of coho and lost 2 BIG Kings.
We left the slip an hour later on Sunday (6:00 AM) and it made a difference.
