TOPIC:

Launched out of Portage and headed towards Gary based on a tip from One More Time who was on their back up the ditch while we were headed out (early limit!). Fished from 9:00AM to Noon as it was our shakedown trip and fished worked 38' to 42' where the bait seemed to be holding. Targeted fish other the coho for this trip and got into a 19lbs King and 10lbs Steelhead along with a few coho's that we shook off to get bigger. Set the King rod down at 35' and he hit Green Dolphin UV and Steelhead come on a flatline with green Thinfin, 150' out. Beautiful day for shakedown in the few hours we had available to us!
