Shakedown Trip was a success- with less than ideal conditions and snow/rain/wind/cold/sporty waves we managed to go 11 for 15 with a nice King,5 Lakers,4 Cohos and a Steelie that gave us an aerial show with a couple Screamer Kings that either broke line or shook off. You know it’s a good King when @steelheadereric tweaks his back netting a fish lifting it in. Thank god for our @lowrancefishing Autopilot! It would have been a chore to troll without it. The @bloodruntackle 50’ Copper was a hot stick with either body baits or @michiganstinger spoons. Other bites came off our @cannondownriggers & Flat lines.The @yamahaoutboards motor was a champ and we probably burned less than 10 gallons of fuel the @smokercraftboats 222 Phantom Offshore handled the waves like it always does. Didn’t take pics of all the fish due to the weather. #SP3 #Trollingdirty #Spring20lbClub One more thing New Buffalo Officials- you need a Fish Cleaning House!! Great job. I need to get over there soon. Would like to take a couple rookies out to get a few salmon. Not sure where to go though. Saw a great post about NB from 5/3.
