Fished straight out from 6:30 to noon hoping to find some kings showing up but that wasn’t the case for us. Set up in 90fow and worked out to 170fow and back. Ended 10 for 11 all Lakers. Some were very large. Fish were caught between 65’ to 95’ down and came on everything including a j-plug. Disappointed no kings but the crew I took enjoyed the steady action. Hopefully the silver action will get better, seems like you can go haul all the grease you want in the mean time. Good luck.

I totally missed the bite this weekend. With the forecast of winds I decided to just go out of hammond and run up to Chicago and try for lakers and maybe some silver. All I got was two shaker coho. I heard they did better on the East side and my change of plans not to go to St Joe apparently was the total wrong decision. I would have been happy with some nice lakers; maybe next time.

BigEdV, there were plenty of them around and a couple were pushing 20 I’m guessing. The people I took enjoyed hauling them in. Marked a lot of bait too so fish should stick around.
