TOPIC:

Today we fished in 125fow basically straight north of portage in the 09s. We ended up accidentally catching 4 lakers which we released the biggest one. 8 coho and 1 steelhead. We also caught 2 undersized coho that we released. There stomachs were full of flys. We marked no bait in the area. There was bait reported on the radio approx 6 miles west of my location but no silver fish in the area. Most coho came in the top 20 fow but a few were caught down around 40 feet. I really did not have a hot bait either. The fish are very scattered with very small pods of fish. Cover water when you catch a couple in a close proximity of each other beat that area up hard it might be the only pod of silver you find. Many boat struggled catching any silver fish today.
